1. Zero Permanent Storage of Uploaded Resumes 📂

When you select or drag-and-drop candidate files (.pdf, .docx, .txt) into AI Resume Ranker, text extraction is executed locally inside your web browser. When server-side AI evaluation is requested, extracted text snippets are processed ephemerally in-memory over encrypted HTTPS solely to return candidate match scores. We do not store, save, archive, index, or sell uploaded resumes or candidate personal identifiable information (PII) on any database or server.

2. Local Browser Storage

If you use the "Star / Shortlist" button to bookmark candidates during a session, only the file name identifier is stored in your own browser's localStorage and never leaves your device.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Cookies 🍪

We use third-party vendors, including Google AdSense, to serve advertisements when you visit our content pages. Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
